Personal Desire:
- Have an Interest in the History past or future of the USS Olympia and care about a national treasure
Requirement:
- Donations totaling $100 plus per year, with membership clock starting again every Jan. 2nd.
What does that mean?
- If you can’t donate $100 right away, don’t worry we will track your donations over the year (always ending Dec 31st) and when you reach $100 on that day you will become a member automatically.
- i.e. donate $50 on one day, $25 a month later and $25 a couple of months later gives you $100. You reach the official membership amount on that third donation and automatically
- Buying tickets to events and fundraiser won’t count towards the basic membership
What do you get for being a member?
- We can’t do too much now because we don’t have possession of the ship (Goal 2013)
- For all fundraising events you get free matching tickets
- i.e. if you buy 2 tickets for a fundraising dinner you can have extra 2 tickets if you like for a total of 4 tickets
- Early ticket notification for events
